Here's my story of working with Tom. On meeting him we immediately understood the difference between working with a carpenter installing cabinets and being with a true craftsman.

We wanted the kitchen to be the heart of our new condo - bright open, inviting and modern. We wanted a balance of functionality and aesthetics. Mostly we wanted the space to be warm and hospitable, a clear extension of Aloha.

The alchemy with which Tom transformed our old kitchen was as dramatic as night to day. Two banks of white oak cabinets line the walls. On the middle wall, three open shelves capture the eye with a display of prized curios and cookbooks. Delicate, unbroken, horizontal grain lines in the oak instill the space with a subtle air of artistry and warmth. Finally ribbons of LED's fitted under the upper cabinets light up the stellar white stone countertops. Our kitchen is a showpiece.

Tom is a master cabinet make as well as an experienced business person. After our deliberations on design and price, he submitted a contract which included deliverables to be built, with specifications and timeline. Tom met all benchmarks.
