After working with the client at her previous residence, Ms. Clark asked us to build her a library at her new home in the San Francisco neighborhood of Russian Hill for her extensive book collection and to display some of her prized pieces of Southeast Asian art.

We partnered with San Francisco designer Kevin Hsu, who came up with the stunning designs. The cabinets were built from quarter-sawn Walnut with Linen panels for the doors. Warm LED lighting was used throughout the cabinets to gently illuminate the artworks and books allowing the collection to really shine. The upper cabinet backs were finished with the same grass cloth wallpaper as the walls in the room, allowing the cabinets to look truly "built-in."
